Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to oversee daily pharmacy operations, ensure accurate dispensing, and deliver exceptional patient care across our West Virginia locations. The role emphasizes leadership, regulatory compliance, and service excellence within a busy retail pharmacy environment.
The position requires a PharmD/BS in Pharmacy, active licensure, and immunizer credentials. You will guide staffing, enhance patient outcomes, and collaborate with healthcare providers to expand
Formación
- BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D and active pharmacist license in the district.
- Experience in prescription dispensing, pharmacy operations and compliance with state/federal laws.
- Immunizer certification or willingness to become one within 90 days.
Responsabilidades
- Engages patients to provide an outstanding, empathetic pharmacy experience and resolves issues to ensure satisfaction.
- Counsels on medication usage, interactions, allergies, generics, and OTC options; refers to medical providers as needed.
- Dispenses prescribed medications accurately, reviews therapy, and ensures regulatory compliance in daily operations.
- Manages pharmacy workflow, staffing, training, and performance to optimize patient care and service delivery.
