Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Pharmacy Manager in Danville, IL to lead pharmacy operations, ensure patient safety, and deliver exceptional care. You will hire staff, manage performance, and drive clinical services while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Licensed Illinois pharmacist with immunization certification and retail experience is required. Relocation assistance available; quarterly incentives up to 10% may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy.
• Registered Pharmacist in the state of practice.
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana).
• CPR Certification.
• 3 years of experience in retail/community practice.
• One year management experience (preferred).
• Working knowledge of pharmacy system and policies.

Responsibilities

• Staffing selection and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Conduct performance reviews of pharmacists and technicians.
• Document and apply disciplinary actions.
• Fill prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Implement pharmacy programs including financial results and clinical services.
• Educate and mentor team members.
• Motivate team to perform at a high level.
• Ensure compliance with Meijer policies and laws.
