Qualifications

BS in Pharmacy or PharmD; licensed pharmacist in the district states.
Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
Certified Immunizer or willing to become one within 90 days of hire.
At least 1 year pharmacy experience including prescription filling, recordkeeping, legal compliance, operations, pharmacy software and insurance billing.
Experience with state and federal controlled substance laws.

Responsibilities

Engages patients, greets customers, and resolves issues to ensure a positive experience.
Counsels patients on medication usage, interactions, side effects, and generics.
Dispenses medications accurately and reviews prescriptions per regulations and company policies.
Oversees pharmacy workflow, scheduling, and staff performance; maintains inventory and a secure operations environment.
Performs immunizations, diagnostic testing, and clinical/wellness services as appropriate.
