Job summary

Walgreens is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Manager to oversee daily operations, immunization services, and clinical pharmacy activities. You will ensure accurate dispensing, regulatory compliance, and a high-quality patient experience across the store's pharmacy operations.

You will also manage staff performance, training, and engagement while collaborating with store leadership to optimize workflow, inventory, and financial performance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or PharmD degree from an accredited institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year pharmacy experience including dispensing, recordkeeping, and insurance billing.

Responsibilities

• Engage patients and resolve issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Counsel patients on usage, interactions, and generics; refer to medical providers as needed.
• Perform dispensing, compounding, drug therapy reviews, and verification.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and efficient pharmacy workflow; oversee staff scheduling and training.
• Lead pharmacy staff performance, training, and formal reviews.
• Support IT and pharmacy systems, inventory management and loss prevention.
