Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D Degree from an accredited educational institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year pharmacy experience including prescription filling, recordkeeping, legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and insurance billing.
• Experience performing prescription dispensing activities that demonstrate a strong working knowledge of applicable state and federal controlled substance laws.
• Leadership expectations evidenced by performance reviews (internal candidates).

Responsibilities

• Engages patients by greeting them and assisting with products and services to ensure a positive patient experience.
• Counsels patients on usage, side effects, interactions, and OTC options.
• Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Ensures regulatory compliance and oversees pharmacy staff scheduling and workflows.
• Develops relationships with local medical community to promote pharmacy growth.
