Job summary

Walgreens Pharmacy in Bedford, NH is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to lead a high-performing team and ensure accurate dispensing, compliance, and excellent patient care. You will supervise daily operations, manage inventory, support immunization and clinical services, and partner with store leadership to drive growth while maintaining quality and safety across all processes.

Qualified candidates hold a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy, current licensure, and at least 1 year of pharmacy operations

Qualifications

BS in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited institution.
Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
At least 1 year pharmacy experience including prescription filling, recordkeeping, legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems and insurance billing.
Experience performing prescription dispensing activities with knowledge of state and federal controlled substance laws.

Responsibilities

Counsels patients on medication usage, side effects, interactions, and privacy considerations; refers to medical providers when needed.
Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
Reviews and dispenses prescribed medications accurately and efficiently.
Ensures pharmacy operations comply with regulations and company policies; oversees staff scheduling and shift changes.
Maintains information technology knowledge of pharmacy systems and supports staff with technology improvements.
