Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D from an accredited institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year pharmacy experience including prescription filling, recordkeeping, legal compliance, and insurance billing.
• Experience dispensing medications and understanding state/federal controlled substance laws.
• Leadership ratings and conduct requirements in performance reviews for internal candidates.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on medication usage, side effects, interactions, and privacy.
• Performs dispensing, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Ensures accurate dispensing and regulatory compliance of prescriptions.
• Oversees pharmacy operations, scheduling, roles, and shift changes.
• Maintains pharmacy IT systems knowledge and inventory management.
• Collaborates with Store Manager to define opportunities and improve performance.
