Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to oversee daily pharmacy operations, manage inventory, and ensure compliant, high-quality patient care across our store pharmacies.

The role requires a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy, active licensure in applicable states, immunizer certification, and at least 1 year of pharmacy experience including dispensing, recordkeeping, and insurance billing, plus leadership responsibilities and staff development.

Competenze

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D; licensed pharmacist in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year pharmacy experience including prescription filling, recordkeeping, legal compliance, operations, software and insurance billing.
• Experience dispensing medications and knowledge of state and federal controlled substance laws.
• Leadership ratings on the last performance review if available (internal candidates).

Mansioni

• Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, interactions, contraindications, patient information privacy, generics, less expensive medicines, and over-the-counter products.
• Performs pharmacist tasks including compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Reviews, interprets, and accurately dispenses prescribed medications, as required.
• Ensures the pharmacy operates in accordance with regulations, company policies and standards; establishes procedures for efficient workflow and manages staff scheduling and shift changes.
• Ensures the use of Good Faith Dispensing policy in line with state and federal laws when filling prescriptions.
• Collaborates with Store Manager to identify and develop new strategic business opportunities.
