Walgreens is seeking a licensed pharmacist to provide empathetic patient care, pharmacy consulting, and clinical services including immunizations. You will manage dispensing, compounding, reviews, and regulatory compliance while leading workflow, staff training, and performance.

Formación

Pharmacist license in applicable U.S. states.
Certification as Immunizer or ability to become one within 90 days.
At least 1 year of pharmacy experience with dispensing, documentation, and insurance billing.

Responsabilidades

Counsels patients on medicine usage, side effects, interactions, and privacy.
Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
Reviews, interprets, and dispenses prescribed medications according to guidelines.
Ensures pharmacy operations comply with regulations and policies, manages staff scheduling and shifts.
Ensures Good Faith Dispensing principles per state/federal laws.
Collaborates with Store Manager to develop business opportunities.
Maintains pharmacy IT knowledge and supports staff with technology.
Processes insurance claims and handles third-party audits.
Communicates with medical providers and patients about meds, dosages, interactions.
Provides immunizations and other wellness services.
