Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D degree from an accredited institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year pharmacy experience including prescription filling, recordkeeping, legal compliance, pharmacy operations, and insurance billing.
• Experience with prescription dispensing activities and knowledge of state and federal controlled substance laws.

Responsibilities

• Engages patients to ensure positive experience and answers questions about medications and services.
• Counsels on usage, interactions, contraindications, and generics; refers to medical provider when needed.
• Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Ensures regulatory compliance, manages workflow, scheduling, and inventory.
• Oversees staff training, performance reviews, and adherence to Good Faith Dispensing policy.
