Qualifications

• At least 1 year of pharmacy experience including dispensing, recordkeeping, compliance, operations, software and insurance billing.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on usage, side effects, interactions, contraindications, privacy, generics, OTC products.
• Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification and medication management.
• Reviews and dispenses prescribed medications accurately.
• Ensures pharmacy operations comply with regulations and company policies; oversees scheduling and shifts.
• Applies Good Faith Dispensing policy with state and federal laws when filling prescriptions.
• Collaborates with Store Manager to identify new business opportunities.
• Maintains pharmacy IT knowledge to support workflows, inventory, and billing.
• Ensures insurance claims are processed correctly and handles third-party audits.

Education

BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D Degree from an accredited educational institution

Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district

Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire
