Job summary

Meijer Inc. in Louisville, KY seeks a PharmD-licensed pharmacist to plan, direct and supervise day-to-day operations of the Pharmacy. Responsibilities include staffing, performance reviews, dispensing safely, and implementing pharmacy programs to improve clinical services and profitability.

You will mentor pharmacists and technicians, uphold Meijer policies and state/federal laws, and lead a team to deliver great service, patient safety, and community health.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy required.
• Registered Pharmacist in the state of practice.
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana).
• CPR Certification.
• 3 years of experience in retail/community practice.
• 1 year management experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of pharmacy systems and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and supervise pharmacy day-to-day operations.
• Staffing selection and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Prepare and conduct performance reviews of pharmacists and technicians.
• Fill prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Implement and execute pharmacy programs, including clinical services and profitability.
• Educate and mentor pharmacists and technicians to be effective team members.
• Ensure compliance with Meijer policies and state/federal laws.
