Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Supervisor to lead the day-to-day operations of the retail pharmacy, including staffing, dispensing, clinical services, and patient safety.

You will mentor pharmacists and technicians, drive program implementations, and ensure high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate holds a PharmD or Bachelor’s in Pharmacy, is a licensed pharmacist, and has retail experience with management preference, immunization certification and CPR.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist licensed in the state of practice.
• CPR Certification.
• 3 years of experience in retail/community practice.
• 1 year management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs and supervises staffing for day-to-day pharmacy operations.
• Prepares and conducts performance reviews of pharmacists and technicians.
• Fills prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Implements pharmacy programs focusing on financial results, clinical services, labor and inventory.
• Educates and mentors pharmacists and technicians to improve teamwork.
• Motivates staff to excel and grow the pharmacy business.
• Oversees clinical services, including immunizations where allowed, and ensures patient safety.
• Communicates effectively to prioritize workload and maintain service quality.
