Job summary

Inova is seeking a Pharmacy Liaison 1 to join the Retail and Specialty Pharmacy team in Chantilly, VA. This full-time day-shift role (Monday–Friday) supports patients with access to medications, prior authorizations, and coordination with payers and care teams.

Qualifications

• Education: High School or GED.
• Experience: 3 years as Pharmacy Technician; 1 year Pharmacy Billing.
• Certification: Registered Pharmacy Technician in Virginia; BLS within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Uses clinical documentation to obtain prior authorization approvals and appeals.
• Assists patients with timely access to medications and documents communications with patients, physicians, finance, nursing, and case management.
