Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D degree required.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year pharmacy experience including prescription filling, recordkeeping, legal compliance, operations, software and insurance billing.
• Experience performing prescription dispensing with knowledge of state and federal controlled substance laws.

Responsibilities

• Counsels and assists patients with medicine usage, side effects, interactions, and generics; refers to medical provider as needed.
• Performs drug dispensing, compounding, drug therapy reviews, and medication management.
• Ensures regulatory compliance and efficient pharmacy operations, including staff scheduling and workflow.

Education

BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D Degree

Pharmacist license in applicable states
