Job summary

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D Degree from an accredited educational institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year pharmacy experience including prescription filling, recordkeeping, legal compliance, pharmacy operations, insurance billing.
• Experience performing prescription dispensing activities that demonstrate knowledge of controlled substances laws.

Responsibilities

• Engages patients by greeting them and assisting with products and services to ensure a positive patient experience.
• Counsels patients on usage, side effects, interactions, and alternatives.
• Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Ensures accurate dispensing and compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Oversees staff scheduling, roles, and workflow to maintain efficient pharmacy operations.
• Leads staff training and formal performance reviews.
• Develops relationships with local medical community to promote health services.

Education

BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D Degree

Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district

Certified Immunizer

1 year pharmacy experience in dispensing/operations

Experience with state/federal controlled substances laws
