Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited school.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year pharmacy experience including prescription filling, recordkeeping, legal compliance, operations, pharmacy software and insurance billing.
• Experience performing prescription dispensing with knowledge of state and federal controlled substance laws.
• Strong leadership with evidence of performance reviews and staff development.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on medication usage, side effects, interactions, and privacy.
• Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Reviews, interprets, and dispenses prescribed medications in compliance with regs.
• Ensures pharmacy operates according to regulations and oversees staffing and workflows.
• Supports Good Faith Dispensing per state and federal laws.
• Collaborates with Store Manager on strategic business opportunities.
• Maintains IT knowledge of pharmacy systems and supports staff.
