Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacist Manager to lead a busy community pharmacy in the Robbinsville, NC area. You will counsel patients, perform drug therapy reviews, ensure accurate dispensing, and maintain regulatory compliance while guiding staff.

Responsibilities include managing workflow, inventory, and customer service excellence, as well as training staff and supporting clinical services such as immunizations and wellness programs.

Qualificações

• BS or Pharm D from an accredited institution
• Current pharmacist licensure in the district states
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire
• At least 1 year pharmacy experience including prescription filling, recordkeeping, legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems and insurance billing

Responsabilidades

• Counsels patients on usage of medications, side effects, interactions, contraindications, and privacy; refer to medical provider when needed.
• Performs pharmacist tasks including compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Reviews and dispenses prescribed medications in accordance with regulations and policies.
• Ensures pharmacy operations comply with regulations and policies; oversees staff scheduling and shift changes.
• Follows Good Faith Dispensing policy in line with laws for controlled substances; collaborates with Store Manager on strategic opportunities.

Formação académica

BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D

Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district

Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire
