Qualifications

• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year pharmacy experience including prescription filling, recordkeeping, legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems and insurance billing.
• Experience performing prescription dispensing activities that demonstrate knowledge of state and federal controlled substance laws.
• Leadership behaviors rating (if applicable) in last performance review.

Responsibilities

• Engage patients by greeting them and assisting with products and services to ensure a positive experience.
• Counsel patients on medicine usage, side effects, interactions, and OTC products.
• Perform compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Ensure the pharmacy operates in compliance with regulations and company policies; manage staffing and workflow.
• Maintain pharmacy systems knowledge and assist staff and patients with IT issues.
• Analyze performance data and manage inventory, financials, and losses.
