Job summary

Kroger in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a pharmacist to manage all aspects of the pharmacy practice, ensuring compliance with laws and corporate policies. You will maximize financial performance by overseeing budget, inventory, pricing and staff development, while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include supervising the pharmacy team, driving sales initiatives, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree Pharmacy and/or Doctor of Pharmacy Degree (Pharm.D.) from an accredited U.S. School of Pharmacy
• 2+ years related retail experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum 21 years of age
• Participation in clinical programs following company sponsored training
• Ability and willingness to continue education as necessary
• Ability to preserve confidentiality of information
• Commitment to providing excellent customer service
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Ability to read and interpret prescriptions and documents
• Proven leadership skills
• License must be in good standing

Responsibilities

• Perform all functions of a staff pharmacist and lead the pharmacy team to reduce customer wait times
• Develop, implement and promote the sales plan and other sales initiatives
• Fulfill duties of a registered pharmacist in the state of employment and comply with legal and company requirements
• Direct the team to meet budgeted labor, volume, inventory and sales goals
• Comply with controlled substance procedures and audits
• Monitor third-party profitability and resolve issues promptly
• Schedule staff to control labor costs
• Maintain required pharmacy records
• Engage in detailing local physicians and community targets
• Promote public health initiatives and disease state management
• Travel as needed to support business needs
• Coach staff and conduct performance reviews
• Perform essential job functions with or without accommodation
