Job summary

Kroger in Oregon is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to deliver health and wellness services, assist pharmacists, and support customers with accurate dispensing while upholding HIPAA and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information.
• Completion of national registration, certification or licensure.
• Any previous comparable experience.
• Any equivalent experience of a pharmacy technician.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in responsibilities and support non-dispensing services.
• Provide stellar customer experience during reception, data entry, adjudication and dispensing steps.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and follow store policies.
• Perform CLIA-waived screenings according to state and federal law.
• Ensure sanitation and safety regulations are followed and report unsafe conditions.
