Walgreens Co. is seeking an assistant to support pharmacists under supervision, processing prescriptions and assisting with pharmacy systems. The role emphasizes a distinctive customer experience and accurate cash handling during opening and closing procedures.

You will help maintain inventory, pricing, and signage, and support pharmacy staff in workflow, ensuring regulatory compliance and service excellence in a busy retail environment.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Earns and maintains PTCB or ExCPT certification through designated program or required by state.

Responsabilités

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in practice of pharmacy.
• Process prescriptions using pharmacy systems and assist cashiers as needed.
• Open/close store, handle cash, and ensure store readiness for business day.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and price changes; support pricing and signage.
• Assist in entering patient and drug information and verify prescriptions for accuracy.
• Support pharmacy manager and staff pharmacist in daily operations and workflow management.
