Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist the pharmacist under direct supervision, handling prescriptions and pharmacy operations. You will be trained to use pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information and assist cashiers with the pharmacy cash registers.

You will engage customers, greet and assist them with products and services, and model Walgreens service traits to deliver a distinctive customer experience.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in the practice of pharmacy and in related duties.
• Enter patient and drug information in pharmacy systems; process prescriptions and assist cashiers as needed.
• Greet customers, answer questions, and deliver a positive customer experience.
• Support inventory management and pharmacy operations; help maintain compliance with policies.
