Job summary

The Kroger Co. is seeking a licensed pharmacist to join our Greencastle pharmacy team. You will fulfill prescription needs with precision, counsel patients, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and all laws.

You will manage inventory, oversee scheduling, maintain records for controlled substances, and uphold Kroger standards for service and appearance while building trust with customers and staff.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist licensed in state, in good standing.
• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Strong oral and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill customers' prescription needs with emphasis on accuracy.
• Provide patient counseling and pharmaceutical care.
• Ensure pharmacy compliance with laws including HIPAA.
• Maintain professional image and adhere to company standards.
• Know trade area, customers and competition.
• Create positive pharmacy image through service and cooperation.
• Monitor stock, inventory, records, security, and recalls.
• Maintain records for scheduled drugs and compliance.
