Job summary

The Kroger Co. is seeking a licensed pharmacist to deliver exceptional patient care in a busy retail pharmacy. You will fulfill prescription needs, counsel customers, and help ensure compliance with HIPAA and other regulations.

A strong focus on service and accuracy is essential in this role. You will manage inventory, maintain records, and participate in staff scheduling to support a positive, compliant pharmacy environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy is required and licensure must be active.
Ability to handle stressful situations and maintain composure in a fast-paced retail environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for counseling customers and documenting interactions.

Responsibilities

Fulfill customers' prescription needs with a focus on accuracy.
Provide patient counseling and pharmaceutical care to customers.
Ensure pharmacy compliance with all local, state, and federal laws (incl. HIPAA).
Maintain a professional image and adhere to company dress standards and policies.
Develop knowledge of the trade area, customers, and competition; deliver excellent service.
