Job summary

Pima Medical Institute, Mesa campus, is seeking a Laboratory Assistant – Pharmacy Technician for part-time morning lab sessions (8 hours per week) on-site at 957 S. Dobson Road.

You will assist with setting up scenarios, guide students, grade assignments, manage supplies, and ensure proper operation of equipment while maintaining confidentiality.

This role supports hands-on education and professional development within the Pharmacy Technician Program.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Pharmacy Technician program and three years of experience.
• OR at least four years of relevant training/experience if not graduated.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lab preparation and instructional support for morning lab sessions.
• Demonstrate proper operation of pharmacy lab equipment and safety protocols.
• Monitor lab inventory and restock supplies as needed.
• Assist instructors with grading and advising students on progress.
• Maintain confidential student records and ensure compliance with policies.
