Pima Medical Institute in Mesa, AZ seeks a Medical Assistant Instructor for a part-time morning schedule (8 hours per week, Tuesdays and Thursdays). Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program recognized by USDE/CHEA.
• CMA or RMA certification is required.
• Current license or designation as required by local, state, or federal laws.

Responsibilities

• Implement and evaluate daily lesson plans, including activities, lectures and hands-on skill demonstrations.
• Plan instruction to achieve learning objectives based on curriculum standards.
• Assist and advise students on curriculum, progress, and skill development.
• Evaluate student performance and maintain attendance and grade records.
• Coordinate guest speakers, field trips, and externship visits.
• Monitor safety in classroom and lab, manage equipment and supplies.
