Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree and at least 4 years of pharmacy inventory management, forecasting, and/or demand planning; OR High School/GED plus 7 years of experience.
• Experience in developing, implementing and leading strategic projects.
• Experience designing or enhancing systems or processes to manage inventory.
• Experience presenting and reporting on project plans and cost benefit analyses to stakeholders and senior management.
• Experience using time management skills to manage multiple projects with deadlines.
• At least 2 years of experience contributing to financial decisions in the workplace.
• At least 2 years of direct leadership, indirect leadership and/or cross-functional team leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develops and recommends IT programs and enhancements to inventory management systems to optimize purchasing and distribution.
• Designs and develops new processes for distribution of specific pharmaceuticals outside current system parameters.
• Allocates resources and ensures ongoing training and development of direct reports; mentors staff.
• Assists in annual and long-term development of Pharmacy department goals; creates and presents to senior management.
• Manages financial oversight and analysis of project development and implementation.
• Ensures appropriate use of corporate capital and verifies project exit strategies.
