Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a capable Inventory and Operations Lead to manage store and pharmacy inventory, pricing, and asset protection. You will train teams on inventory best practices, verify planograms, and ensure accurate postings across front-end and pharmacy operations.

The role also involves supporting cash handling and opening/closing duties when needed. You will engage customers, resolve issues, and model Walgreens service traits to deliver a positive experience.

Qualifications

• Six months of prior work experience in retail or Walgreens settings.
• Fluent reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multi-task and execute.

Responsibilities

• Execute, monitor, and train inventory best practices and SOPs for store and pharmacy.
• Review and coordinate use of reports and system apps affecting on-hand balances and pricing.
• Perform front end and pharmacy asset protection activities and manage discrepancies and recalls.
• Open/close responsibilities in designated stores, including cash handling and POS duties.
• Maintain inventory accuracy across departments and support planogram compliance.
