Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Under general supervision of a pharmacist, performs duties of a pharmacy technician such as filling medication orders, delivering medications, compounding sterile and non-sterile preparations, interviewing patients to obtain medication histories, etc.
• Provides pharmacy services to patients by performing clerical duties in the pharmacy to ensure efficient operations and handles medication ordering, receipt, stocking, and inventory control.
• Receives and interprets prescriptions for outpatients and enters them into the pharmacy computer system.
• Adheres to hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment through communication and teamwork.
