Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to support patient services, process prescriptions and manage inventory in a customer‑facing role. You will assist with third party functions, data entry, and labeling while upholding patient confidentiality.

You will participate in clinical services under supervision, help with health screenings when trained, and contribute to a team focused on accurate, compassionate care in a busy pharmacy setting.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited pharmacy school.
• Pharmacy Intern License (state specific).
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
• Neat and legible penmanship with organizational skills.
• Team-oriented, timely and dependable; understands patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and assist patients with product selection.
• Process and fill prescriptions; handle third party functions.
• Use pharmacy computer system for data entry and adjudication.
• Manage inventory, BOH updates and order processing.
• Support clinical services and health screenings after proper training.
• Perform responsibilities in line with Meijer Pharmacy policies.
