Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to support customer service, prescription processing, and clinical services under pharmacist supervision. You will help with medication preparation, patient communication, and basic clinical tasks in a pharmacy setting.

Responsibilities include using the pharmacy computer system, managing inventory, handling third-party billing, and maintaining strict patient confidentiality with a focus on accuracy and care.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited pharmacy school.
• Pharmacy intern license (state-specific) required or in process.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and assist patients with product selection.
• Process and fill prescriptions.
• Communicate with patients in person and by phone; assist with pricing and third party adjudication.
• Use pharmacy computer system for prescription data entry and third party adjudication; pull products and label prescriptions.
• Manage inventory and related ordering; assist with vendor chargebacks and transfers.
• Provide clinical services under pharmacist supervision; maintain confidentiality.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
