Job summary

CVS Health Corporation in Rio Rancho, NM is seeking a Part-time 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply classroom learning in a real store setting. You will support the pharmacy team, follow SOPs, and help ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment while delivering caring service to patients.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and ongoing pharmacology learning with supervision from a licensed pharmacist. Immunization support may be included where permitted by state law.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends as needed.
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely and accurately.
• Demonstrate customer service and empathy while handling patient interactions.
• Participate in immunization support and other services where permissible by state law.
• Maintain accuracy in inventory, labeling, and adherence to SOPs under supervision.
