Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in real-world practice within our retail pharmacies. Under a preceptor, you will follow a structured training roadmap, support vaccine administration where allowed, and ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment while delivering compassionate care.

You will gain hands-on experience across store operations, engage with leaders in your district, and contribute to a patient-centered pharmacy team culture.

Qualifications

• ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy enrollment or acceptance.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, intern and/or technician licensure.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely and accurately.
• Follow SOPs, communicate effectively, and provide caring service to patients.
• Counsel patients when appropriate and support immunization services where allowed by law.
• Perform basic inventory tasks and support safe pharmacy operations.
