Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a part-time 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to support the store pharmacy team. You will apply didactic learning to real-world practice under a preceptor, following a structured training roadmap and SOPs to ensure safe, efficient prescription fulfillment.

You will assist with counseling patients, immunizations where allowed, and basic inventory tasks while developing clinical and technical knowledge for advancement toward pharmacist responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an ACPE-accredited College or School of Pharmacy.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining intern/technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Follow SOPs at each workstation and participate in training roadmap.
• Provide patient counseling and immunization support where allowed by state regulations; escalate as needed.
• Handle telephonic prescriptions and verify instructions with the prescriber when required.
• Support inventory activities and store operations as directed by leadership.
