Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to support our pharmacy teams in CVS Retail locations. You will follow a comprehensive training roadmap, focusing on key learning experiences that build clinical and operational aptitude under the supervision of licensed pharmacists.

You will assist with prescription fulfillment, patient counseling, and opportunities to participate in immunizations and other services, while growing your skills for increased responsibility.

Qualifications

ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy enrollment.
Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, intern and/or technician licensure as required.
Preferred: 1+ years related work experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting.
Ability to become immunization certified once state regulations are met.

Responsibilities

Complete a comprehensive training roadmap focusing on KLEs in pharmacy operations.
Assist pharmacy team with safe and accurate prescription fulfillment under supervision.
Provide empathetic patient service at pick-up, drive-thru, and over the phone.
Assist with immunizations and other on-site pharmacy services as trained.

Education

Valid intern/technician licensure in progress
