Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern for our Albuquerque, NM location. You will apply didactic learning in a real-world setting, under a preceptor, to prepare for a pharmacist role. The role emphasizes patient care, adherence to SOPs, and cross-team collaboration.

You will gain hands-on experience with prescription processing, patient counseling, and immunization support where allowed. This is a part-time position with opportunities for growth and professional development.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, intern and/or technician licensure as required by state.
• Part-time schedule with nights and weekends as needed.
• Demonstrated customer service and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Provide empathetic, patient-focused service at pickup, drive-thru, and over the phone.
• Follow SOPs and participate in a comprehensive training roadmap.
• Support immunization services where permitted by state law.
