Job summary
CVS Health Corporation in Winter Haven, FL is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning to real-world practice within a CVS pharmacy team. Under a preceptor, you will complete a comprehensive training roadmap designed to show you what it’s like to be part of a pharmacy team while gaining an overview of store, district, and regional operations.
You will assist in safe and accurate prescription fulfillment, patient care, and immunization services to prepare for a Pharmacist
Qualifications
- ACPE-accredited pharmacy program enrollment.
- Valid intern and/or technician Licensure as required.
- 1+ years of related work experience (preferred).
- Ability to become immunization certified as needed.
Responsibilities
- Attend to required training within designated timeframe.
- Assist pharmacy team with prescription processing and accuracy.
- Demonstrate empathy and provide patient counseling and service.
- Follow SOPs and maintain patient safety and privacy.
- Support immunization efforts where allowed and trained.
