Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a pharmacy intern to learn patient experience by assisting the pharmacist and team in accordance with regulations. You will use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions while delivering a distinctive customer experience.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a school of Pharmacy program.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with products and services to ensure a positive experience.
• Assist pharmacists with entering, third party processing, filling, and dispensing prescriptions under supervision.
• Support inventory management and cash handling as required.
• Provide patient counseling and health services within state scope.
• Report prescription errors promptly and follow QA policies.
