Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree from an accredited educational institution prior to the start date.
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure from the respective Board of Pharmacy within 90 days of hire.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on medication usage, side effects, interactions and privacy.
• Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification and medication management.
• Ensures compliance with regulations and company policies; manages workflow.
• Responsible for opening/closing pharmacy and shift duties.
• Uses pharmacy systems (Intercom Plus, StoreNET) and seeks system improvements.
• Processes insurance claims accurately and follows up with payers.
• Administers immunizations and other preventive health services.
• Analyzes performance data with managers; supports asset protection.
• Develops relationships with local healthcare providers and community outreach.
• Collaborates with Central Pharmacy Operations for 3rd party reviews in Well Experience locations.
