Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to learn and support the pharmacist and team in delivering excellent patient care. You will use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, assist in processing prescriptions, and help maintain a compliant, friendly store environment.

Under supervision, you will gain exposure to dispensing, patient counseling, and health services while adhering to regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Must be enrolled in a Pharmacy program.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with products and services to ensure a positive experience.
• Assist pharmacists and team with dispensing and entering prescriptions under supervision.
• Support pharmacy operations including inventory management and store standards.
• Provide patient counseling and health services within the state scope of practice for interns.
