• Counsels patients on usage, side effects, interactions, and generics; ensures proper dispensing and patient privacy.
• Performs pharmacist tasks including compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Ensures regulatory compliance and efficient workflow, assists in procedures and opening/closing of the pharmacy.
• Maintains pharmacy systems knowledge (Intercom Plus, registers, automation) and supports insurance claim processing.
• Engages with local medical community and supports community outreach to promote Walgreens services.
