Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain PharmD degree from an accredited institution prior to start date.
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure from state boards within 90 days of hire.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on medication usage, side effects, interactions and refills to ensure safe use.
• Performs pharmacist tasks including compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Ensures pharmacy complies with regulations and company policies; assists in establishing efficient workflows.
• Maintains knowledge of pharmacy IT systems and proposes enhancements to improve productivity.
• Processes insurance claims and follows up with providers to prevent rejections.
• Delivers immunizations and preventive healthcare services.
• Analyzes performance data and supports asset protection and inventory management.
• Develops relationships with local medical community and participates in outreach.
• Supports central pharmacy operations and performs virtual product reviews as needed.
