• Counsels patients about medicine usage, side effects, interactions and refills; refers to medical provider when needed.
• Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Ensures regulatory compliance and supports efficient pharmacy workflow and inventory management.
• Uses pharmacy systems (Intercom Plus, StoreNET) and advocates for productivity enhancements.
• Processes insurance claims; follows up with insurers and providers; participates in audits.
• Delivers immunizations and wellness services; supports patient education and safety.
