Qualifications

• Pharmacist license in the state(s) where employed or eligible.
• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree from an accredited institution.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become one within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on medicine usage, side effects, interactions, and generics; refers to providers as needed.
• Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Ensures compliance with regulations and company policies; supports workflow and asset protection.
• Maintains pharmacy systems knowledge (Intercom Plus, StoreNET) and suggests productivity improvements.
• Processes insurance claims and follows up with payers and providers to reduce rejections.
• Provides immunizations and preventive health services; engages in community health efforts.
• Assists in analyzing performance data and coordinating staff training and development.
• Builds relationships with local medical community and participates in outreach to grow the business.
