Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain PharmD degree from an accredited institution prior to start date.
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure in the states within the district within 90 days of hire.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Engages customers and patients to assist with products and services, resolving issues for a positive experience.
• Counsels patients on usage, side effects, interactions, and privacy; ensures correct dispensing.
• Maintains pharmacy regulatory compliance and supports pharmacy manager in workflow optimization and inventory management.
• Performs pharmacy tasks such as compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Maintains knowledge of pharmacy systems and seeks enhancements to promote productivity.
• Supports and reviews insurance claims and interacts with providers to resolve issues.
