Job summary

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy degree is required or preferred before start.
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure within 90 days of hire.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on medication usage, side effects and interactions.
• Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification and medication management per regulations.
• Ensures accurate processing of insurance claims and resolves issues with payers.
• Assists with opening/closing the pharmacy and shift change duties.
• Maintains pharmacy systems and pursues immunizations and patient education.
