Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to learn patient experience by assisting the pharmacist and team in accordance with regulations. You will use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions, while delivering a distinctive customer experience.

You will work under pharmacist supervision, supporting adherence to policies and quality standards, and develop clinical skills including patient counseling across health services.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a school of Pharmacy program.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist and pharmacy team in processing prescriptions under supervision.
• Engage customers and patients to deliver a positive experience.
• Help with pharmacy policy, procedures and customer service best practices.
