Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to support pharmacists and the pharmacy team in delivering safe, patient-centered care. You will learn to use pharmacy systems, assist with processing prescriptions, and help provide a distinctive Walgreens customer experience.

Under supervision, you will handle daily duties, maintain compliance with regulations, participate in training, and develop skills in patient counseling and health services. Flexible scheduling and weekend availability are required.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a School of Pharmacy program.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services to ensure a positive experience.
• Models and shares customer service best practices with team members to deliver a distinctive Walgreens experience.
• Under pharmacist supervision, assist in the practice of pharmacy and in accordance with policy; enter, process, and dispense prescriptions.
