Job summary

CVS Health in California is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in real-world practice under a licensed pharmacist. You will support the pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate prescriptions and deliver caring service in a retail setting.

Participation includes a detailed training roadmap with KLEs, SOPs, and hands-on experiences across store, district, and regional operations, while developing clinical and technical skills for progression to pharmacist roles.

Qualifications

• ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy enrollment is required.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
• Provide caring customer service and empathetic patient interactions.
• Learn SOPs and comply with federal, state, and local laws and professional standards.
• Participate in training roadmap with Key Learning Experiences (KLEs) and leadership interactions.
• Support immunizations and other services where allowed by state regulations.
